Activity Summary and Rationale:
The students were able to read about different views about the American Revolution. George vs. George contained information that affected America and the British. Life was difficult for colonists because of the taxes and the disagreements between both sides. This activity forces children to imagine what their life would be like if they were a colonist during the American Revolution. The students will think creatively and think about life with their family during this era and their daily routines that would be affected by the American Revolution. This activity is great for teachers to incorporate in their lessons because it allows the students to put themselves in a different scenario of life.
