Found Poem of George vs. George: The American Revolution as seen from Both Sides
George vs. George
two enemies
two sides to every story
who was right?
Lived in Peace for awhile
But then Great Britain became in debt
taxes
The trouble with taxes
No taxation without representation
Angry colonists
Protests
George vs. George
A fight for Independence
The Continental Congress
A new nation
Independence
The United States of America
Free from British rule
Freedom
Independence

Poem 2
The American Revolution
The birth of our country
The beginning of our great nation
The American flag is a symbol of our independence
Freedom rests on eagles wings
Our Founding Fathers had hearts as big as King George's debt
They believed in Independence and never gave up.
The Declaration of Independence
The achieved goal of Our Founding Fathers
Our Independence never sleeps
Freedom is always on our side
Thanks to George Washington
And the rest of America on our side
